This CLE will cover issues involved in representing clients with cases pending in both federal and state courts. The focus will be on identifying when defendants will and won’t earn credit against their federal sentences for time spent in state custody, and what lawyers can and cannot do to help clients avoid consecutive sentences.
This seminar is pending approval by the State Bar of Texas MCLE Department for 1.0 hrs. of CLE credit (Course No. 174284687). There is no cost for participants or for those attorneys wishing to apply for the CLE credit. Each participant is responsible for reporting their CLE hours to the State Bar of Texas.
