BOND FOR UNDOCUMENTED DEFENDANTS
CJA Panel Training
Tuesday, March 30, 2021

The Bail Reform Act authorizes federal courts to set bond for any defendant, regardless of their immigration status. Despite that, many courts and many defense attorneys incorrectly assume that undocumented defendants should not receive bonds. This seminar will explain the relevant law and offer practical advice for seeking bond for undocumented clients.
